| Speed limit - by Steve from Australia |
| Watch out for speed cameras on Lake Terrace...it is ridiculously restricted to 50KM...on a dual carriageway major arterial road! Anybody know what happens to an aussie who wont pay his traffic fine? |
Rotorua Overview |
| A trip to Rotorua is like no other in this life but quite possibly like many in your strangest dreams. Situated on a volcanic rift, with steaming cauldrons of sulphur rich waters, pools of mud that boil and bubble, and geysers gushing scalding hot water into the atmosphere must surely have seemed ungodly to the eyes of the early explorers. This torrid landscape changes though and is softened by neighbouring lakes of crystal waters, verdant forests, and green pastures. It is no wonder that today Rotorua is one of New Zealand’s most popular tourist destinations.
