| What really caught me out on more than one occasion whilst driving in Wellington, and was potentially hazardous, was that vehicles turning left must give way to traffic turning right. |
Wellington Overview |
| The Capital of New Zealand is set on the rim of its harbour and is an attractive place that has not raped its natural setting. Having suffered a lot of damage through quakes, man-made and natural it is trying to conserve some of its Victorian heritage and some of the old buildings still standing have been restored. In a further effort at projecting a more attractive image, the city fathers have begun refurbishing the abandoned wharf, and part of the mega-million scheme is focused on building the Museum of New Zealand
